Refrigerant R 32 - efficiency and ecology
R32 refrigerant is a homogeneous HFC refrigerant that is distinguished by its low global warming potential (GWP = 675). Its global warming potential is 68% lower than that of R410A, making it compliant with EU F-gas legislation.
Thanks to its favorable thermodynamic properties, such as high heat of vaporization and high volumetric cooling capacity, R 32 refrigerant is used in split air conditioners, heat pumps and modern refrigeration systems. Its efficiency makes it increasingly the choice of leading air conditioner manufacturers, and the range of units operating with this refrigerant continues to grow.
Safety and technical characteristics
One of the features of R 32 refrigerant is its classification as a flammable agent. It has been assigned to the A2L safety group, which means low ignition risk. Studies have shown that the high ignition initiation energy and low flame propagation speed make it safe for use in an assortment of equipment running on this refrigerant.
The R32 refrigerant also has a high operating pressure, so its use requires appropriate installation components.

The cylinder is equipped with a connection valve with a left 1/2” ACME thread. A reducing valve (e.g., 1/2“ ACME F x 1/4” SAE M Valve or DS-7016 Valve) can be used to connect standard hoses ending in a right 1/4” SAE thread.
Transportation and delivery
Refrigerants are liquefied gases that are subject to ADR regulations for the transportation of hazardous substances. Therefore, for deliveries outside of Poland, the lead time may be longer than the standard declared by the carrier.
