F-gasses - tools and equipment

Act of 15 May 2015 on substances that deplete the ozone layer and on some fluorinated greenhouse gases in response to EU regulations introduced a number of obligations regarding both the operator of the equipment containing the f-gases or the controlled substances as well as the service companies providing installation and maintenance services. For equipment operators it is first of all the obligation to register in the CRO, to install the equipment card, to prevent leaks and to control the leakyness of the installation and, most importantly, the obligation to entrust installation, recovery, leakage testing and maintenance and servicing of any equipment containing SZWO and f-gases only to personnel possessing the appropriate certificates. The main responsibilities of the service companies are among others the obligation to have appropriate certificates (staff and trader) and to submit annual reports on the trading of SZWO and f-gases.
