Before servicing or dismantling the refrigeration system, the refrigeration system must be emptied of the refrigerant by means of a recovery station. In order to store the recovered freon, there is a cylinder equipped with two access valves. In order to maintain the homogeneity and purity of the substance, it is necessary to collect and store each type of refrigerant in a dedicated and appropriately marked cylinder. After completion of service works, the refrigerant can be pumped back from the cylinder to the refrigeration system.
