Brazing alloy based on copper with the addition of phosphorus and silver brazing copper and its alloys
Sold in kilogram packs.
EN 1044-CP102 / DIN 8513- L-Ag15P / EN 17672- CuP 284.
Brazing alloy AS15 is recommended for thin-film brazing of copper, brass and bronze (0.05 ¸ 0.2 mm). Do not use for soldering steels and alloys containing nickel and installations where the media contain sulfur. There is no need to use flux for soldering of copper fittings, for soldering of brass and bronze it is necessary to use HS paste. Heat the connector evenly until it melts freely and fills the gap completely when applied to the edge of the solder. If flux is used, remove residues. The AS15 hard solder ensures corrosion resistance and durability of the soldered joint with low binder wear.
