R290 propane is a naturally occurring hydrocarbon in natural gas deposits. As the refrigerant does not destroy the ozone layer (low ODP potential) and has very low global warming potential (GWP), well blended with mineral oil and in terms of performance indicators, it does not give in to HCF, eg R134A, R404A. Unfortunately, due to its flammability, it is subject to stringent safety regulations (ISO 5149: 1993, IEC 60335-2-89), which limits the permissible filling mass to 150 g. This makes it suitable for use in small hermetic installations - mainly in domestic and commercial refrigerated furniture.

Critical temperature: 97 ° C;
Flammability limits: 2.1 ÷ 9.5% vol. in air;
Material compatibility: does not cause corrosion;
