Silver brazing alloy L-Ag40Sn / Ag 140

Sold high-strength silver solder for bonding ferrous and non-ferrous metals (eg steel and copper) in a sheath. Designation according to EN 1044 - AG105 /  DIN 8513 - L-Ag 40Sn / EN 17672 - Ag 140, melting range 650 - 710 ° C, working temperature 690 ° C. High hardness silver solder and high fluidity, suitable for soldering machines operating at temperatures up to 200 ° C. Suitable for soldering steel, stainless steel, nickel and its alloys, as well as copper and its alloys. Used in the food industry where high corrosion resistance is required as well as soldering of chillers, cooling units, distillation plants, decorative items and household appliances.

USE:
Heat the joined elements to reach the temperature when applied to the brazing edge and melts freely. Remove the flux residue. The AS40 hard solder provides anti-corrosion and durability of the solder joint at low wear rates. The joint is resistant to temperatures up to 200 ºC.
