Copper-based brazing alloy with the addition of phosphorus and silver to the soldering of copper and its alloys.
EN 1044-CP105 / DIN 8513- L-Ag2P / EN 17672- CuP 279, melting range 650 - 810°C, working temperature 710°C. It is a non-viscous brazing material containing silver and having a low working temperature. It is specially used for brazing copper to copper joints without needing any flux. It is permitted for through-flow media for hot and cold water, oil, liquid gas, naturaland town gas, and fluorinated chlorinated hydrocarbons. It is suitable for pipe materials made of copper with the materials used in fittings being of copper, brass and red bronze (gun metal). It can also be used in cooling technology (for operating temperatures up to + 200°C) as well as in the electrical industry.
