Mechanical thermostat F-2000

The F-2000 distance thermostat is a simple, universal controller designed to control actuating devices as a function of temperature.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:

The thermostat is equipped with a gas-filled measuring sensor that uses the phenomenon of changing gas volume under the influence of temperature. SPDT contacts enable the use of a thermostat to control both cooling and heating devices. In the heating function, the thermostat automatically opens the main contact when the set temperature is reached and closes it after the temperature drops by the hysteresis value. In the case of control with a cooling device, after reaching the set temperature, the thermostat closes the main contact and opens it after the temperature drops by the hysteresis value.

The thermostat housing can be mounted at a distance of up to 1.7 m from the measuring point, while the measuring head itself can work in a gas environment or be immersed in a liquid.

APPLICATION OF THE REMOTE THERMOSTAT:

- in refrigeration, to control the operation of the compressor or fans

- in air conditioning – to control the defrosting of the drip tray or condensate drain heater

- warm air heating

- electric heating with heaters

- central heating water heating
