The RANCO O16-R6750-086 high-pressure switch, encased in a corrosion-resistant and mechanically durable steel housing, safeguards the cooling system from excessive increases in condensation pressure. When the pressure exceeds the preset range of 6 to 32 bar (100-450 PSI), the pressure switch disconnects the contacts to which the compressor is connected. Once the cause of the excessive pressure increase is addressed (e.g., cleaning a dirty condenser), the pressure switch automatically unlocks, allowing the system to return to normal operation.

The package includes a plate for mounting the device on the unit's base.

  • Adjustment range: 6.0 to 32.0 bar; Δp 3.0 - 15.0 bar
  • Connections for cap nut: 1/4" SAE
  • Automatic reset at high pressure
