The adapter equipped with a 1/4 "SAE female thread connection and a schreder valve tappet is used to connect a syringe with a sealant to the cooling or air conditioning system in order to repair minor refrigerant leaks. The angled connection and flexible hose of the adapter make it easy to apply the sealant even in hard-to-reach places. After repairing and removing the remnants of the preparation from the hose, it is reusable.
