Leak detector for air conditioning and refrigeration installations
An electronic leak detection device designed to detect refrigerant leaks in refrigeration installations, car air conditioning and home refrigeration appliances. The leak detector allows you to determine the location and size of the leak, and the flexible tip allows you to examine hard-to-reach places. It has a built-in mechanical pump that ensures effective air flow through the measuring tip. In the light of the Gas Act, this is a tool necessary to equip an entrepreneur conducting business in the field of servicing refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment and installations.
The leak detector meets the requirements set by the Gas Act of May 15, 2015 (and its subsequent amendments), in particular those listed in the Regulations of the Minister of Development on the minimum requirements for the technical equipment of entrepreneurs and staff engaged in activities covered by certification. A tool accepted by the Office of Technical Inspection during the entrepreneur's inspection.
The sensitivity of a portable sensitivity detector, required by the provisions of the Gas Act, can be checked at the following institutions:
PROZON Foundation in Warsaw https://prozon.org.pl
Central Refrigeration Center in Krakow https://coch.pl
MERSERWIS Sp. z o. o. in Warsaw https://www.merserwis.pl
The calibration of the leak detector is performed for devices equipped with a display showing precisely the value (in weight units). The result of calibration is a calibration certificate. However, for commonly used leak detectors (such as CPU-C) with a bargraph (LED display) indicating a specific leakage level, only a comparison is made with the standard and the result is a verification certificate confirming whether the device meets the requirement of minimum sensitivity of 5g/year
