Service valve for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The Schrader service connection with a standard 1/4 "SAE thread allows quick connection of external control devices and supplementing or removing the refrigerant from the refrigeration system using a service hose. The safety nut is equipped with a nozzle for removing the vent and a gasket additionally protecting against an undesirable leakage.
